Welcome! We are in Florence. Thanks EggieRowe and moxies!
We moved to upstate from Charleston this summer.
Enjoyed the sun for a little bit yesterday, but it's freezing this morning.
Have a good day!
Hey just found this thread. I'm in wellford sc.
You're right down the road from me! Did you notice the strange glowy thing in the sky today (and yesterday)? LOL
Hi everyone!
We moved to rural area and now we are proud chicken owner.
I hope to learn a lot about chicken tending on this site.
The picture was my pet silkie hen who hated rain!
She would have loved today's sunshine but she was one of the five we lost to my neighbor's dog recently.
Now we have limping BR roo and his girlfriend and five guineas. The hen should be laying soon.
And also we have 5 BO and 3 true ameruacanas in the brooder.
I don't know anyone who has chickens where I live except for the breeder we get our chicks from.
I'm glad I found SC thread![]()
I would like to let everyone know we have another bantam show next month in Clemson.
I hope everyone will come join us for a lot of fun, tons of gorgeous birds to drool over and let the children see what all they may want to get into with showing, whether it is 4H or the ABA or APA shows.
Our club, the Anderson All Breed Bantam Club would love to encourage everyone to exhibit their birds. There are many great mentors available!
Mark your calenders for Jan. 25!
There are often many birds to available for purchase outside in the large parking lot and silent auctions inside as well as For Sale cages with some more beautiful birds.

Me too! I wonder what it would take to plan an APA and ABA show in the future...I was at the last one. Very interesting. I wish there was a show for LF here too.![]()
