If they look anything like the one in my avatar, I would like to get some.... please keep me in mind. What line did your birds originate from???

I am working with basically good hatchery quality. I love my flock but unfortunately I still have a ways to go. This is my rooster I'm working with right now.

Your avatar is beautiful! I was looking at some from a breeder I think in NC that had good real show quality but I can't seem to find him right now, but I will keep a look out for him. I would have loved to get some but the cost is a bit hard to swallow on the good ones. I'll let you know if I can find him.

Quote: I have Plymouth Rocks, 1 Rhode Island Red Rooster, and a new flock of Barred Rocks. I got the hen from another fellow BYC-er, and the rooster from my next door neighbor. So far, the pair has made 9 beautiful babies!! They are from 3 different broody hatches. I don't use and incubator or candle...just let the broody do her thing. My large fowl do NOT go broody, but I had one game hen I am using for broody. She has one daughter, half EE/OEGB...and she has been an excellent mama to 2 of this summers hatches.
