South Carolina

Have any of you SC folk ever bought anything out of the auction section of this site? Do any of you neighbours have a Reeve's hen for sale? PM me if you do. I'm in Florence county.

Hi, currently in NC but will be moving to SC as soon as school is out 2nd week of June. It was mentioned to me that it may be illegal to bring my girls across state lines. Anyone know if this is correct? We will be looking for a home in/around the Lexington/Columbia area.

Hi, I live in Greenville. I dont have any chickens right now. I have had them in the past, but had to give them up for family reasons. Now I am ready to start chickens again. I have a problem. My husband and I are not working right now. I am not able to purchase any right now. I am looking to raise them for the eggs. I have never butchered any of my chickens in the past. I was wondering if there is a kind, christian soul out there that can rehome one or two of their hens with me. I am not looking for a free handout. I can work off the amount owed or pay it back at a later date. I have tried looking on Craigslist, but it always turns out to be a prank listing. I have contacted two listings today. One for free ducklings and one for free chickens. I have not heard back from either of them. I hope someone can please help.
Thank you and God bless.

Spartanburg here. Looking for some fertile eggs to run my 1st ever bator hatch. Dont mind driving an hour around my area. Wouldn't mind having some Australorps, orpingtons, Barred rocks/White Rocks, pretty much any good layers, and im still looking for light speckled sussex...

Name is John
I have had chickens for 5 years...
Golden Lace Wyandottes...
15 weeks I got 6 more pullets.....
They have been in a runner next to the older girls for 12 weeks
They are outgrowing the runner and small coop....
this was the 1st coop I built for 10 then realised it was too small
so I built a larger coop and running area right next too it...
My question is When and How should i combine them...
There is a door that leads to the larger coop from the smaller runner...
Thanks
