Susanne, sorry about your little wry neck baby. It is always so hard and sad to do that. I did a crop bound surgery on a Silkie a few years ago and was devastated that she did not make it but I really waited a long while before trying the surgery. It was still very hard to lose the little dear girl. I felt bad I did the surgery on her when she wasn't going to make it anyhow. I am not the most deft handed with surgery instruments. But she acted like she wasn't in pain so I felt some better that I tried.

Kimberly, congrats on the anniversary!!! We are coming up on 31 years ourselves. Whew! Where does time go?

Mary, I am out of creamed honey and wish you lived closer! It was the best stuff! I loved it every morning and no headaches!
Not sure exactly what that man wants but I have Frizzles, Sizzles and some Marans chicks. The Marans are the only LF I have available right now but they are chicks about 2 weeks old. The only adults I have are a bunch of roosters in several different breeds like Golden Cuckoo Marans, Welsummer and Langshans.

Happy Anniversary! That would be the best gift ever!!!

Thank you! He is trying to work out ways for me to have a few tractors to use as breeding pens that will be light enough for me to move by myself

We went to Lowe's yesterday but he did not find what he was looking for ... will probably be a few weekends before he can get materials & get one or two built.

Susanne, also sorry to hear about the baby.

Amy - I know about time flying! OMGGGGGGGG I have no clue where the past 22 years have gone either

Welcome! I'm not far from you. I'm in Greenwood. The Dominques are pretty easy to sex because the males are a different shade than the females. I think they're darker but that might be backwards.
