Yoohoo, I'm way south, Upstate is about 4 hours away. I love to have a meet and greet somewhere central, say, around Columbia? I don't know that area very well, so anyone know?

There are lots of parks around Lake Murray there. My sister lives on the lake but I could see all of us busting up into her house! LOL She is pretty used to crowds but not MY crowds.
I have a lot of friends around that area as well so I could probably find out some nice places. I was thinking maybe something near water but I hope it will be cool enough not to need to swim. I am thinking late Sept maybe. ?

Me too, I have had enough heat already, and the air is so thick it's like swimming all the time!

Perhaps a park? But should we take chickens or not? I worry about the biosecurity issues.

I wasn't thinking about bringing chickens but we could think about a swap or sale, if anyone is interested.
I was hoping more for a lot of chatting and a pot luck meal. I seldom like traveling with chickens. They like to smell up the car.
