South Carolina

Yes, but only the democrats have to check his certificate. It isn't as if they probably really even check. That's what started the whole ordeal. I suppose being a die hard conservative I am in the middle of all this stuff. I know we should not talk politics on the chickens board. I will shut up...but it is soooo hard!
I love my country and love my chickens.

And sometimes I love my family, if they are real good!

I'm neither GOP or DEM--I'm a TRUE Moderate so I'm not sitting here defending nor pointing fingers, but yeah, I agree about politics and chickens, lol.

SO, how 'bout them Braves?

how old is the black feathered foot?

3 months-bantums. We have a black pair, georgous gray pair, and two buff pairs of feather footeds. I have to get rid of the roo's or they'll be cooked. I figure the only way to do that is with a hen.

So, I'm curious as to where everyone gets feed in SC. I know I can go to my local Tractor Supply and buy (we have one 10 min from my house), but I'd love to buy from a local mill. I'm also interested in feeding my chickens organically...and by that, I don't necessarily mean USDA certified organic feed or anything like that...I guess I'm just interested in local mills that produce good healthy feed for my chickens. Any ideas or suggestions anyone?

I dont know where you live but there is a feed mill over in Newberry. I used to go and buy my goat feed over there every 2 weeks, but it got to the point that it was a haul for me to go buy feed there when all my other feed came from TSC. Plus it cost me $20 in gas there and back and a nearly 2 hour drive.

Comments.....

I heard they buried him at sea so there wouldn't be a physical location to become a shrine.

I'm also a Conservative and am one of the SC State Coordinators for Mike Huckabee. Go Huck!

The Newberry feed is also sold at Brown's in Ware Shoals. Might be closer for some.

That's all I got. If there was another comment, I forgot it.
