Good Luck!

Hey Everybody! I just got back from the Vet with my Blue Wyandotte. She has the wonky leg(as I call it) losing control of one leg and can't walk right. I just had to take her since I lost a chicken a few months back to the same syptoms. So I packed her up and took her to my vet who sees livestock animals (including Chickens) SO he thinks the verdict is Selenium Definciency or "runting symdrome" which he explains is it affects the tendens in the legs. So he gave two shots and said I should see a difference in two days if this is what's wrong with her

So in two days or so I'll post if that help!!! and if it is then if your chicks get " the Wonky leg" then hopefully this will help!!! and I was real real happy when they only charged me $28 for the visit and shots instead of the normal $75.

to all the newbies!

I have not shot at a hawk, have only seen the one around here. But since I am unemployed, I cannot pay a fine......which means jail.......which right now sounds like a vacation.
