Well we finally hatched 2 peachicks! I know there is a lot that can happen still before they reach adult hood but I am excited that we got 2! There was one other one that developed but never pipped the shell. I find them so confusing when it comes to hatching them. Others that have them--do you have them around your chicken/chicks? Have you had any problems? I have my fingers and toes crossed that these guys make it.....

OH, and now the incubator is empty and shut off! Door open and looking sad.....

Phoneman I saw your son at lowes today. Totally didn't recognize him. I just heard someone ask me how the chickens were doing. And I just stood there like...huh? My husband had to answer for me because I was totally caught off gaurd I guess. They are doing great though. I did end up with a hen and a rooster but I will just keep the rooster. He's pretty laid back so far and doesn't give me any trouble.
