Sunday sounds like a day to lay around and keep your feet elevated and take photos of your new birds to show all of us on here and chat with us a bit, maybe an afternoon nap to rest up from Sat.!

So far there are 4 ducklings out from (Nikky's) gofasterstripe's eggs. I had to have some of her eggs because she loves Runners the way I do and has good quality birds on top of that!

I have these 2 and then a blue one and a black one. I am hoping these will be a light blue. The other one is very blue so I know it will be the color of my other blue Runners though the baby, for along while, we thought was a silver.

I also have 2 bantam Mille Fleur Cochin eggs hatching from LuckyPickens. Well, 5 eggs of of the 2 dz I ordered though I should not count the dz Frizzle eggs she sent me that I did not order or want. Supposedly my correct eggs are on their way since I have been waiting for 3 weeks and she has been auctioning my correct eggs on BST. I want more Mottled bloodlines.

Well, I broke down and put 2 keets in with my peachicks last night. I just did not see them eating anything although I assume they were. I was avoiding the keets being in there because they are so spastic! I am finding the much larger peachicks have some energy too! And this morning I am seeing them eat! And drink! They like their new friends--what is funny I posted for comments on the peacock site and got some negative feed back on putting the keets in with them. I will watch them but right now it looks like the peachicks have more energy then the keets!

Oh on another note, I really wish those of you that wanted Polish did live closer. Hubby is pushing pretty hard for me to get rid of my Polish. He can not understand why I so many different breeds of chickens and so many of those breeds of chickens. I do need to reduce them so he will give it a rest...... I still have 2 really pretty blue polish pullets!!! and a pair of golden laced!!! Oh, and a trio of buff laced!!! Oh, and I almost forgot the white crested black rooster and 2 black hens!! (No, this still leaves me with a few). See what you have to look forward to EmptyNester now that you have those bators!!

Here a some pics I snapped yesterday evening. Couldn't get all of them cuz they were not cooperating and I didn't have my wife out there to take the pics while I held them. Some of the hens' back feathers make them look like they've "been riden more than Seattle Slu."

The bright sunlight combined with my cell phone's camera doesn't provide the best view of their lacing and leg color so some of them don't look as they should in these pics, but if you can, just take my word for it!
