OK Little Rosie(SWL) is getting weird....Because she ate so much she has an impacted crop. I quickly googled what to do...so two squirts of Mineral oil down the throat then I massage her crop til it broke up. It was as hard as a rock the size of a small orange. Now I hope some of that food goes through her digestive tract and make her stronger...Poor Chicken. I just have no clue clue. How can you tell if a chicken is egg bound? I checked her vent all clear. I checked her pelvic bones no hard spots? Fecal negative. 3rd day of ABX. OH Lord we'll see........

But everybody else is doing great,, I think Lucy my EE may lay soon...and has made her way all up in the BigCoop and it's all Hers!!! Ofelia the BlkJG is also doing a great job in the bigCoop cause she's one BIG Pullet and I think the older hens are like WHAT she's Huge!!!!

But I have Positive Thoughts for all my girls and (even my roo)....crickets crickets crickets....

I hope everybody is getting ready for this COLD FRONT coming in....

Very interesting bird. Looks like there is some Dominique and maybe some BC Maran mixed into him. I'm looking to add a Barred Maran Roo to my birds. Could you tell us more about him?

I've had a busy day yesterday! My dog had puppies! But chose to have them 10 hours apart!!! Talk about stressful!

Ive gotten all my boriloer chicks up in a top cage ust in case we get this rain we're supposed to get..

we need the rain so badly. going to switch them over to the broiler feed tomorrow hopeful.

is everyone else ready for the cooler weather and wet weather?

I am ready for cooler weather but I never know about the wetter part as it depends on if it all comes at once are a little at a time. My silkies pen tends to flood if we get a lot at once--it runs down the drive-way and into the pen! A true Flash Flood!!

We so need the rain though!
