actually, there have been quite a few sightings of the black panther on Paris Mtn.
A few weeks ago I had some people over showing them the chickens and did not know my cats had gotten out of the pen in the back of my barn. My big black one was walking along the weeds of the back pasture and the people exclaimed "Oh! There is a black panther in your field!" I looked over and saw him and had to giggle. I called "Ebony!" and he started towards us. They freaked out and said,"You have a panther as a pet?" Okay, he might weigh in around 22 lbs but I swear he is a lot smaller than a panther!
I couldn't get him to come closer once he noticed the people. He doesn't like strangers but some folks here on the thread can tell you he is a big black monstrosity. I would let him and the other 2 boys stay in the house still but they thought pooping on the floor was a great idea of fun. Now they can poop in their pen where ever they want!
