Hello fellow South Carolinian's. I have 2 young cuckoo feathered Americauana roosters from Dipsy Doodle Doo stock that I hatched. They are just crowing. Any takers?
Does anyone down near Anderson have Silkies for sale?
Clyde Whitt is looking for some hens or pullets to set on eggs for him instead of using an incubator. I have his phone number if you let me know if you have any or know where he can get some chicks or adults. He isn't wanting only a few, he is wanting a good many. He would probably buy only a few if that is all he can get but he didn't want to drive all the way up to my house for only the few I have for sale.
I figured someone down near Anderson may have some for sale. He would drive further if he could get more, I bet.
I have lots of roos for sale in lots of breeds!
I am to the point that if anyone wants to buy a pullet or hen they have to take a roo. If we can eat them then I don't mind keeping them but those bantam Cochins don't have enough meat to deal with.
I have Olive Egger roos, bantam Cochins, a splash Marans, a Delaware and I think some Welsummers. I think I have some Wellie hens I can sell with the roos though.
I am watching my Marans as they grow up to see who I want to keep. I have 3 exceptional roos that I can't decide about. The 2 blues are fabulous but I want to see how they mature out. And the Black Copper is looking very nice and I need a nice Black Copper. We ate all the ones last year due to bad conformation and color.
Is everyone's hens still laying well? A lot of mine went broody but we still get an abundance of eggs from the others.
I need another chicken like I need a hole in my head !
Much less a rooster . . . .
Sorry about your husband loosing his job
I am headed to VA to buy my next car from my mother this coming week. Then I am coming to visit you again. I need a rooster from a chocolate egg breed. My Maran rooster was not throwing very good chicks, so he went to roaster camp earlier this spring.
Do the Blue Marans produce a dark egg? Or does the Wellsummer lay a darker egg?
My customers love the dark brown eggs, even more than the green ones.
I live in northern south carolina (in clover) but i raise gamefowl...if anyone has any for sale or would be interested in buying just let me know...thanks
