Caught this picture of Harriet, our Ameraucana yesterday. She was trying to find the source of the noise made by a plane flying overhead. I love the quizzical look!

I am working on my webpage for them so you can see much better photos then me posting them on here. I love the Porcelains the best but those MF are really cute, too. The best personality girl is the one Yancy showed first. She is such a good girl but so is the head Porcelain roo. I think Yancy was surprised that they came right up to him and when I went to put them back in their tractor he just scooped them up and was able to hand them to me without any problem.
I think the bloodline is one of the best I could have gotten my hands on with being close to the standard and personality plus.

Joy, post some photos of yours on here. We would love to see them. Especially cute little babies!

I have a few pictures on my website. My old faithful laptop is slowly dying on me and I'm having to use my son's "old" laptop which won't upload photos. This is the best I can do right now.

Joy, you have some very pretty chicks!

Ok, I need to focus on Marans--repeat after me, black copper marans.... Hey, has anyone seen Citron Spangled Hamburgs? Ok, black copper marans....

Okay, I will post more of mine then!

Here is my Main Man. He is a very nice boy and loves to be handled and petted.

Here is a fella that Yancy really liked, too. He is an extra roo because I don't have a mate for him. This is a Gold Neck Booted Bantam.

Oh! And to show the difference between a Booted Bantam and a d'Uccle, notice that Booted Bantams have wattles, d'Uccles do not. Also, a Booted Bantam does not have muffs or a beard, d'Uccles are required to have them. They have about the same weight class within a few oz of each other, I think. There are other differences but those are the most obvious and how to tell them apart easily.
Here are some boys all in a pen together. They get along just great even though hens walk all around them all day.

I am thinking I will try to find another Booted Bantam to go with "Toby". I haven't decided yet. I really have enough birds and breeding pens already. But those Gold Neck girls are so pretty!

Here is a pretty head shot of my Main Man. He has yet to tell me his name.

Maybe something ghosty as Jackie and Yancy thought they looked like ghosts!

Notice his nice full muffs and beard. I think he is so dearly handsome but I am a bit prejudiced!

And Yancy, Millie is throwing you kisses!

I am still working on the website but these were such cute photos I had to share. I have tons more. It is a lot of work to get the page to look the way I want it. I have absolutely no talent with colors or artsy stuff. I sorta throw them up there and hope they stick.

Herbal remedies: I was wondering if anybody has ever heard of using Eucalyptus or lemongrass cruched up leaves in the floor litter/nestboxes to get rid of mites and also garlic in the water will also help??? I have a Medium size Ecalyptus tree and I grow lemongrass so I was wondering if any of you had ever used this in the coop!!!! I may research it and start to use if I found only positive reserach and feedback!!!!!

Holla if you have!!!

I can attest to the yummy goodness of Lemongrass chicken!

I use garlic in everything. Tuna salad, crock pot chicken....and with my apple cider vinegar that I add to chicken waterers. (Terry says we are pre-seasoning them!

) I usually put about 3-4 tablespoons in a gallon of ACV and shake it well then add about a tablespoon or so to a gallon of water. Works great for pasty butt when I don't have to use Vit E for someone else's wry neck chick!
