Weird on the Fowl Pox. Roosters, roosters. Hmmmmm.......

Stay busy and get a lot done while the weather is great. It is supposed to get very chilly tonight and finally be in the 70's from now on. Here comes October! It can stop and stay for the next 6 months, I don't care.
I am STILL trying to get the top finished on the last duck coop. However, I have another page added to the website.

how is it going? Did she get any better and are any others acting weird? This weather is really going to put a tailspin on some that haven't shown any problems in all our flocks. You are right, it does happen but we don't have to like it.

And welcome to our SC thread! Pull up a crate and tell us about yourself. What breeds you have and want to have and what all you like about chickens and other poultry.

Amy Nadine, just wanted to thank you for letting me visit yesterday. I've never seen so many beautiful birds in one place. The babies I got are doing fine. The reason I didnt text yesterday afternoon was I was setting in the ER with a gaint Treble hook in my finger. Then while they where cutting the hook out I was looking the other way telling my husband about all of your chickens. When the ER doctor got finished he started laughing and told my husband he needed to take me back to Amy's for a chicken fix. My huband told him he had a feeling I had already had it today because he hadnt been home yet to see what I had brought home.

Anyone interested in a curly serama hen? I don't want to rehome her but the male I was planning on breeding her to is too rough with her. He's pulling out her head feathers. I'd prefer to trade her for another hen if anyone wants. Goldie is a nicer curlie. She has thick feathers up until now that her head is bald!!! I feel so bad! I will have to post photos of her.
