Hey there! We interrupt your regular thread for a blatant plea for referrals to a Great Pyrenees breeder if you know one. Though I'm in TN, I'm turning over every state nearby in my pup seach, so if you know someone, let me know.

I return you to your regularly sched. Thread. Hugs Cher

Nola, if you still want Leghorns, check with Luann. She has white and brown leghorns and may be hatching some. I think she runs 4 'bators at once since she has her new buildings.
She is a little closer to you than I am but she is still in Greenville. Not hard to find her house if she does have what you want. Look her up under members or use this email, which may be the same one.

I have 21 eggs in the incubator 15 of them showing signs of life in them.

The 6 not showing signs of life are some that were mailed to me.

I have a question.... If I put 4 of my eggs in the same day and my eggs show veins, then the shipped eggs were probably damaged in the mail weren't they ??

I have a large styrofoam box that a friend gave me, my son and I are in the process of making a hatcher with it !

I don't want to hatch in my new incubator, it makes such a mess when eggs hatch.

I am looking for some leghorns to cross with Boom-Boom, the resulting hen chicks should lay blue eggs and be good layers. Boy, the rooster chicks will probably make poor fryers, but, what the heck !
