South Carolina

I have broody Runners and Calls...my one Pekin is not broody! And I have the same typo issues a lot!! LOL Right now I am working on thinning down my Bantam breeds and adding new colors of call ducks and turkeys...really excited about the new color turkey I have planned but not telling until they are here for sure which may be a couple months =) I have been so busy I kinda got away from BYC but so many projects and changes going on will be a good thing in the end...last year we hosted a BYC friends cookout...hoping to do another soon if I can finish a couple things up before it gets to hot...may end up being a fall event here instead though!!

would love some turkeys and more chickens where are you from hartsville

Exact same thing happened to me last time I bought pine flakes at TSC. I purchased 6 and only found two that looked/felt dry, so I had 4 refunded. I get home and the 2 were wet and moldy in the middle! I used them as mulch instead of returning them. I'm giving the one in Greer one more chance since it's on my way to my mom's today. I need to find a Southern States in Greenville. I tried finding one on the way to my mom's in Spartanburg a couple months back, off Asheville Hwy, but the directions on their website took me to an equipment rental place. Very strange.
I could be wrong but I was thinking that The Hay Rack off of Hwy 14 towards Landrum sold Southern States? I'll look online and see.

tell Kris, she may let me put more turkeys in the incubator

Lola, you want some of Kris & Robert's turkeys! They are a hoot! Ours hang out on the patio furniture and watch TV (outside) with us. They are very self-reliant and good foragers - maybe too good. They cleaned up all our white mulberries, saving us from the yearly ant infestation, but are also working over the wild blackberries too. (But have left my vegetable garden completely alone!)
Ours don't like sharing digs with the chickens, so they kind of roost where they want at night- like our front porch/bridge. Here's our dog Banks saying goodnight to them.

Boy, you sure will do anything to set more turkey eggs! LOL Did I not bring you enough peafowl eggs? I should have sent a bunch of my chicken eggs, too and maybe some of those Guinea eggs. I tried to fill that new fancy smansy bator you got.

This is too funny! I can't imagine someone coming to your home seeing this welcoming committee...LOL

This is better than seeing chickens on the beaches of Kauai.
