Kris & I got some new babies today

Here is a picture on one of the chickie daddies


We got 2 cockerals and 6 pullets I think they are about 12 weeks old so of course they don't look this grown up yet.

I have 6 broody hens, 4 of which are silkies. I allowed the silkies to collect a few of their eggs, but I didn't keep up with the hatch date. This little guy surprised me today, the rest should follow soon.

I have a few more incubating that are silkie/oegb crosses and oegb/ large fowl marans crosses.

So is this little one oegb and silkie mixed? My son wants us to make some baby chicks just like this! It is soooo precious!! What a fabulous surprise!

No, this one is pure silkie. To me, they're one of the cutest chickens, as chicks and adults!

I agree - this message needs to be spread. Did you get the manager's name? Other consumers have the right to know how you were treated. I will be supporting my locals next time as well and will deal with the roo issues that come with it. So sorry to hear that Eggierowe

Glad you finally found some. I think you will be much happier with these.
I loved the looks of my Wyandottes but they were disappointing in many areas. I still have visitation rights, though! Saw them the other day and fell in love all over again!
