South Carolina

I don't know why we don't talk on here more often. I have so many other chicken forums that I read and respond to, not to mention a ton of Guinea Pig ones as well since DD is into showing them.
I can talk the ears off of a mule but typing is so one sided sometimes.

I have someone coming up from GA tomorrow to buy most of my Barnevelders.
I have someone from NC also to buy a bunch of chicks and next week I have another one coming down from NC for more chicks.

There are approximately 90 chicks in my brooder room now so I need to move some out.
All my pens are full and we are still building the 10X10's.

Whew! Who has time to talk?

Mine are RIR, BO and EE, all sired by a Partridge Cochin roo. Not quite crowing, but thinking hard about it at 12 weeks!

My last batch was rehomed in Orangeburg- all nine of them. But I don't think she needs any more!

Thanks for letting me know about Enola. I only get to read bits and pieces on here as I have tons of other lists and forums to be a part of. I could spend all day on BYC!

Georgetown here- I'm new to raising chickens , but my family and I LOVE them!!! They are so funny! We have sex linked hens and one rooster bought from our local feed store. They are growing nicely! Is there any way to tell what type of chickens I have?

Hi sc chicken,
welcome-byc.gif
from just a piece down the road.

You can google some breed charts, look at catalogs from hatcheries or post pics on BYC under "What Breed or Gender Is This" in the Index.

Nice to have you aboard!
