South Carolina

I have 4 EE, 2 Buff and two RIR hens, I would like to have a roo compatable with at least one of my girls. My rooster is just mean, sons told me they would kill him for me, but I want the pleasure, no one is safe in the yard. He goes after my grandkids when they aren't anywhere near the hens. He's just gotta go. There is no reason to have a mean bird when there are nice ones to be had.

I would be interested in the buff roo, 3-4 weeks is about right, any new roo in the flock I'm going to hold him as much as I can while he's little to keep him sociable..

If you name him, you have to take him!

I am doing my darnedest to not give him any name but he just keeps on telling me what a sweetie he is. I have so many other roo chicks with bi-lateral tufting that I can't keep one that doesn't have the qualities I need. And this little man seems to know it, too.

Nadine I also have a friend who is looking for a buff roo for his girls . He lives in Campobello and I live in Duncan. Is there any one else out there that anyone knows of that has a buff roo they do not need ? This friends buff girls are just a year old and he wants to breed pure and has been looking for a roo for a while . Any help from anyone in the upstate area would be very much appreciated . Thanks Trudy

Also is there anyone interested in a white EE roo? I have 2 or 3 of them that I have hatched and I already have two. They are 3 to 4 weeks old and they will be so beautiful when they are grown and the father is the most wonderful and sweet roo, and these chicks are already sweet as can be . Here is a picture of the dad for everyone . My last hatch I hatched out 5 or 6 all white EE chicks from him and the hens and they are pure EE.

Hey, Daniel!
You need to be on here chatting with us.

Hey ya'll, Daniel and I get together and chat chickens and gardens and what not all the time.

We all need to get together and have a big party here in the upstate. Maybe a pot luck picnic somewhere central to us all up here. I have met so many of you all and enjoy chatting with you guys.

Oh, Daniel, that Cherokee Purple is divine! We have saved the seeds from them and hope to grow some ourselves. Terry says thanks!

Oh a meet and greet would be so much fun and with so many beautiful places to see here we could have a blast . I vote for early fall . That would be so cool to put names with faces .
