Snowing on the coast!!

Our total was only 3 3/4 inches of snow. Wind blowing like mad this morning. I don't mind the snow but the wind is horrible to me. And the chickens not only dislike the snow but they really hate the wind. It's gunna be a long day!
Oh yeah, they are saying snow for tomorrow night again, too.

All this global change reminds me of my childhood when we had all this snow here back in the 60's.

About 4" in Greenwood. But it doesn't seem windy... at least from inside the house!

We have HUGE hills on the farm so we're headed out to sled. My kids (5 and 9) are VERY excited!!!!!
 
The wind always blows here. We live in an area called "little Chicago". Of course, it actually was named that back in the 30's when a bunch of criminals hung out in this area and locals likened it to mobsters. But we call it that to this day because the wind comes down off the NC mountains pretty strong and quite often.
The snow is being blown off the trees. I can't see the road so I am not sure what it is like. I haven't spotted any cars going down the road.
