Hi, Nice to "see" you! Wish I knew several weeks ago that you had BLRW's. I just bought some, ended up with way more than I needed...I also bought Blue Wheaton Ameraucanas that didn't fare too well on the trip. Going to try to sell some of my excess! Anyway, glad you found this thread!

Phoneman,
I tried to view your website and BYC page but neither would show me anything. ...Ack! I found your BYC page. The BLRW are gorgeous!

I love BLRW and I am totally over run with Mille Fleur Cochins! LOL They are awesome though. View my website to see what all I have but it won't do so well if you are on dial up. I have a big website.

It is so nice to see lots of SC people coming here more often to chat. To all the new ones here I want to say WELCOME! Sit down, stay a while and gab away with us.

To all the regulars, nice to see you all again!

Thanks, Phoneman. I did find that. Your BLRW are scrumptious. I am raising chicks just as hard as I can go so I can add some layers to my free range flock. I have cut back from 100 laying hens in my free range flock to 35 so now I need to replenish them.
I was looking for your website to get a glimpse of your Mille Fleur Cochins. Bantam Cochins are my true weakness.

I think most of us in SC have chickens!

I meet the most people with a lot of chicken savvy. Most everyone is so nice and I have made a lot of wonderful friends from BYC and other chicken lists. Of course, being from SC anyhow I am more than happy to be friendly.
It is sure nice to meet you all!

Yes-plenty of South Carolinians are raising chickens. I have several friends here in the Charleston area with a flock. Even on the peninsula in downtown Charleston! We're only on day 3, so still figuring things out. My girls and I have are having so much fun watching them and listening to their chatter. Last night, we spent close to a hour watching them figure out their coop and how to get in to roost. Some were very quick to figure out the ramp, some not so much. I guess it's just trial and error and eventually they'll figure it out?

Juliette- your Seramas are gorgeous! They really are pixies! Now off to see some of the others' chickens....

i am going to get pictures of my milli fleur cochins when i get my son over to do so. he has to slow down his fingers long enough for this old man to lern how to do this posting. i have spangle sussex eggs on the way that i won on ebay last night. your birds are really nice i had black copper marans and partridge pendasencas but gave them to my son to get him started with chickens. i will have to get some eggs from him and start back with them. my next eggs or chicks will be barnvelders

That is where I got mine also!! Justin was great to deal with, only sad because some didn't make it. He shipped day old and week old together and it was several of the littlest ones that didn't make it, think they got trampled

If you know anybody that wants any BLRW chicks right now, let me know. I couldn't find your web page or your BYC page, not sure what I'm doing wrong?
