OMG! I have ducks galore! I thought it would be hard to find ducks but then everyone wanted to get rid of theirs when I told people about starting to get some. And of the over 30 I have had so far this year I only have had 3 drakes. I guess I will be raising ducks next year. So many folks asked about buying some when they came all summer to buy chicks so off I go on another adventure. And I love eating those ducks eggs!

I would love to come to the swap but it is over an hour away for me and I can't crate up 140 chicks to bring to the sale for the day and get all my chores done. Plus I have chicks hatching every few days now and the work of keeping the brooders and waters clean is a constant job.
I will probably raise most of these up and sell what people want through the fall and next spring I will have either meat roos in the freezer or hens for sale. But beware, I sell my laying hens for $20. Once people see how my birds live they realize the cost is very cheap considering what nice birds they get.

I wish I could get to the swap but anyone not getting what they want can PM me and come see my place.
Goodness knows if I was to come to the swap i would be sure to wind up with more than what I brought! I do have an addition you know!

I'm definitely coming to the swap tomorrow and hauling my husband and kids with me. Never been so this should be fun! My husband is glaring at me, loudly proclaiming that WE DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE! Well, that may be true, but.....

Can't wait to meet some of you in real life!

Everyone have fun at the swap tomorrow. I told a few people from the Anderson area about it so they would not have to drive all the way up here for chicks.

Gofasterstripe, I PM'd you.
