I just wanted to share a great source for chickens. I met a gentleman by the name of Wayne Crawford he lives in Hodges, SC. He is a little north of Greenwood right off Hwy 25.

I just got 2 Gold Marans, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 White Leghorns and 2 Gold Comets. All of the hens were born early this spring and are pretty looking girls.

He's got a couple hundred chickens, goats, fish ponds. He's got it all. His farm is certified and He is NAIS registered State of SC and Clemson.

I'm posting his information with his permission, please tell him I sent you.

Anyone in the SC area have female ducks for sale that are laying.

Hi! I've got a couple of blue Swedish x crested Pekin cross girls (colored/marked like blue Swedish with little crests) --- one is laying and the other should start soon.
Just wondering if any of you know of any local breeders of Large Chickens, Like Giant Jersey, or Delwares, BR, Orps.

As soon as they start laying again, I'll be setting Jersey Giant (blue x blue), Rock (barred, blue barred, blue), and Delaware eggs. I've got Rock chicks (and boodles of others) in the brooders if you want those now.

Lisa I would be grateful if you would let me know about the Jersey Giant(bluexblue). I have fallen for these Giants!!! Although I can't have a rooster to breed my own that's why I have to get some girls from other people's farm and give them a lap of luxury home and spoil them to death!! I really can only have about 4 more hens(i think)I need to measure my coop to see. I would also love the Delawares and I've never seen blue barred rocks sounds awesome!!! Anyways Yeah just send me a message on BYC when you think alls going good and we'll talk!!! Awesome!!!!Thank YOu!!!
 
Hi everyone!

If you are still looking for female ducks my friend is coming tomorrow to visit and probably buy yet more chickens. She has about 40 ducks and they are laying age.

I about have my website finished with all the updates and it will be very pic heavy (like it isn't now! LOL) so you will have hours to surf around. There are more pages and more projects to ponder.
I still have a few chicks that can be sold in Frizzles and Sizzles. Too cute! My Wellies are about gone and my Marans are on a long waiting list. Yippee! I am glad I get to have fun with my job. Cleaning brooders can be a pain but I snuggle the chicks and it makes me happy again!
I have pretty much decided to take a friend up on parting with my last Araucanas. They will be able to free range and have a good farm life so I think I can let them go but it is very hard. I will be keeping one roo to cross with my Cuckoo marans hens for more wonderful Olive Eggers. I delight in that egg color in my cartons! Each one is a treasure.

Cold is coming fast so everyone batton down the hatches. I still have more tarps to put up on the tractors. How did it sneak up so fast???

Is there any way you could put up a photo of your swede/pekin cross ducks. How old are they and are they laying.
