I bet Dipsy Doo has a dark colored EE...I know she has cute frizzles! I have the eggs in the bator so now I am sitting here staring at it. Not sure if it is spring yet but is it day 21 yet?

Suppose I better get out to the barn, farrier should be here soon to trim up the horses...ya think its safe enough to leave the bator unattended for awhile?

LOL
I have 4 chicks hatched out and 4 more eggs to go but it is so cold down in the brooder room that I think I am going to break down and set up an aquarium in the living room for them.

Yes, old cold hearted me is going to let the chicks stay in the house for a few days until they can run in a brooder with others a bit bigger. Be amazed because I seldom do that. DH was wanting me to bring several of my special birds in these cold nights but I can't do it. I love them but they can smell bad in close quarters.

Okay, I ordered my stuff online for pickup in store, we'll see how this goes! (I'm not very electrically inclined. Wood i can do, electricity... meh.) I may not get to this tonight, I gotta make jello shots for our work party tomorrow, lol.

I just had one put in my hand Hardluck...DH came in from work I showed him the heater and he went to his shop and made me one....He had the stuff around here...lucky me. I do not plan on breaking ice in the morning...lol

Hi! De-icer / water heater? I've been carrying out gallons and gallons of warm water from the kitchen sink to fill waterers. I'm hoping the weather will change back to normal.

I've got a black green-egger girl today that just started laying --- if black isn't 'too dark'. And the off-color green-egger chick in the brooder. I WILL send pics tomorrow (I'm slow).
