Babies First Day Out.......

Didn't like it at first but soon warmed up to it! Then they acted like a true chick!!!!

Well, that stinks. If it's new, it really stinks! I have two RCom King Suro 20 incubators and they're great. Haven't had any problems at all. I'm so sorry! I might be able to help you out with some chicks in a few weeks if you're interested.

I'm pretty sure I'm hatching WAYYYYYY too many!

The chicks do not have names, yet .........silkies are a lot of names
Ones right off I can think of without seeing the birds
some are named after artists that do pinups or fairies

Pair of SLW named Sid & Nancy ( yes the sex pistol guy and his girl friend)

I have a bird that developed an eye issue during transporting him home. Treatment did not help so he cannot see in one eye. His name is Boris (after artist Boris Vallejo) and it suits him. His girl's name is Julie (after artist Julie Bell)
( those are my silver sebrights)

Then there is a black barred bantam cochin named SWIFFER
A buff orpington cockerel that I thought was a GIRL but is not....named BUTTER
A buff orpington cockerel named BISCUIT

They all look like normal chickens!

It was 100 this morning when I posted it...... I even had it broken down into how many of what breeds......... Then this morning HE wanted to go to a feed store in Landrum.......so brought home 5 more chicks.
2 to replace 2 I killed when I dropped heat lamp on them........ 3 of a new breed.
We get outside and he said I thought you would get six. I said well I just got 5. He said no I mean 6 of the new breed

This is coming from the person that fusses about me having so many chickens. I guess it is different when they are laying hens that he can claim as his
