On that same subject, does anyone have a young (<1 month old) EE/Amer roo, OR Speckled Sussex roo, OR SLW roo??

Got some young pullets, DW said she wouldn't mind having a roo for them. SO I'm like !#@$*&^%

Well, my silver laced wyandotte roo is promised now. But I still have the silver laced wyan/americauna cross. He's a very pretty boy, white with the rosecomb. Let me know if you're interested in him, he's young, from last summer hatch and not a year old yet.

Thanks Joy but he's a bit too old, these girls aren't quite a month old yet. I was hoping to find a youngin' to raise up with these girls. ANYONE ELSE!??!?

Did the vet give her any Banamine? I lost my first horse to colic so I know how rough it can be....sending good horsey vibes your and her way. I really hope she improves through out the night!

She has had 3 shots of Banamine. I have another on hand. I gave her the third Saturday morning.........she improved after walking another 2 hours after the shot. She is doing better, as of this afternoon at 4 - but still can tell she doesn't feel good & her usual self.

Our vet said usually after one shot of Banamine, within a couple of hours, he sees an improvement. After two shots, and no improvement, none of us held out much hope. Well I did because she was still standing Saturday morning!

They say to expect one at least to be wrong. One time I did get one roo out of 15 girls. The only Roos I have are olive ethers. About 16 weeks old but not crowing yet.
