Stick some stamps on their butts and send them up here!
All I have is my lavenders left and the one buff Dundotte. I need more. I wish you weren't so far away.
You need MORE?!!!! You crazy.
I need more. Scarlet is not taking no for an answer to get out of the nest box. I think I need a couple guineas. My ticks and yellow jackets are absurd.
Okay, I really don't think I have enough. There is only one adult pair and 7 keets so yeah, I need more. The keets won't be free ranging because they are so light colored so I need more of the pearls, browns, purples......whatever darker colors I can get to free range for safety.
I saw some for sale in Cowpens but have held off on going and getting more because the person had light ones and dark ones I if I see the light colored ones I will want more of those! But if you want another road trip, just holler!
Wish I had some Guinea eggs to share but I have no idea where Guinea girl may be laying. Too much tall grass and brush piles here right now.
Yes, I do. I am ready for a break. I love this GQF Sportsman Incubator but I always feel I have to fill it and keep it full! lol
I did candled the last silkie egg in the bator and it does not look good so I do not have to worry about any more chicks in there with all those rambunctious keets. Although everyone out in the brooder are snuggled together sleeping!
On another note, I turned my youngest polish pen out this morning, which I never do (I wait and turn them out in the even) and they have all taken up residence under the deck! I hope it stays cool down there! I put some water down there for them!
Okay, Jackie, we are looking at a BIG road trip there!
That would be a day trip and if we get that close to the beach I may not ever come back home! Then again, I would want those beautiful keets back in my brooder.
Coral blues.....

Some of my roos won't go in the coop until all the other birds are up on their roosts. Sometimes it is because they are the low chickens on the pecking order and have to wait or get beat up by the head roo, Adonis. And sometimes it is a hen that will smack them around, like Olive, who just doesn't like other roosters besides the head roo.
My chickens do go up much sooner than my ducks though. Those ducks will stay out drinking and partying well after dark if it is very warm outside.
I do have several roos that sleep outside because they have no place to go anymore. They have been shoved out of all the sleeping flocks so one sleeps in the trash pile, another sleeps on an old antennae behind the barn and one sleeps on top of the Muscovy coop next to the barn. I want to fatten them up but they run and play all day.
I have 5 that refuse to go in at night.. 3 EEs a barred rock and a little black sex link and theve figured how high the need to be in the tree to where I cant grab them and pull them off the branch,, its right next to the coop but still not secure.. oh well... for now..
You are so bad!!! NO NO NO NO NO no no no no noyes yes yes yes yes yes YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!
All I ask is that someone take a few pictures to record this road trip if it happens. I have a feeling you two would have a blast! Amy, you have to feel sorry for Jackie and go with her on this trip. Remember, she has been taking care of Cleve and is about to go crazy. She needs to get away. (Sorry, I'm a really bad enabler!).
