Yeah, I live on the laurens/newberry county line! my house is technically in laurens, but my mailbox, which is across the street, is in Chappells!
 
YEP! Thats Us! We have to get together and compare chickens...my mother just bought some polish and I see you have some...Dixie isnt as into the chickens as we are but I think she is coming around...she likes my fluffy silkies!

By the way - I have silver laced wyandottes.

I just ordered some, would you recommend the breed? I thought they were pretty, and I heard they lay well too.

I have a black silkie roo...and I think I must see the polish /silkie crosses! And although I have Blue Laced instead of silver(I have 2 chicks that one may not be a blue) I love them! My boys are just 16 weeks and they are awesome( I think)!

I have polish crested and silver sebrights too. I have about 30 breeds. I love the wyandottes, they are very sweet birds. My rooster is such a gentleman. They lay a medium sized egg, smaller than most of my layers. But they are very pretty birds and have a great disposition.
