Ohhh I have to find him a home~ Haha but he is snugly, I scooped him up in my arms and brought him inside with me for a little bit, massaging his neck~ hoping it would quite him down~ but it's not really working!

Joy,
it sounds like he may have mixed his birds somehow. Surely he has another breed and it really seems to me that somehow they have gotten together. As you say, you have been raising them for several years with nothing like this occurring.

Nikky,
I only had 4 to hatch from your eggs but they are fabulous babies! Today is their first day outside in a little pen. I had to hold them and cuddle a bit before they would go explore but they soon forgot all about me and are having a blast playing and eating grass.
They are all totally gorgeous! I think I have 2 boys and 2 girls. Two appear to be black, one looks like it will be blue (I have been fooled before though) and the other seems fawn/white. Nice, upright kids! And very tame and friendly. They groom my face for me and are bad to pinch my nose and eyes but it is fun to snuggle them while I can.
I am sure someone else would have gotten a better hatch but I am not too great with hatching duck eggs. I keep learning though.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Do the birds have to b tested in order to bring them to NC?

No, they do not need to be tested. For some reason only the ones in shows need to be tested. I am not complaining but it sure seems like a waste of time to do only the ones being shown and not everything that crosses the border or is on the same grounds.

I'm in Charlotte, NC.. and from my searches, per Google.. Witt Farms is the closest to us. Although for whatever it's worth, we've had great luck with www.mypetchicken.com
Good luck!

Ive never hatched out a F&W even tho I have 2 of them. You will find that it will be a silver or a silver splash. Out of the last load of eggs i put in...22...I only got 9 that were fertile and 9 hatched.
