If we can use the proper word for a male chicken, can we not also use the proper Word for a female dog?

We always love to hear from others. There are a few others that join in here on occasion that have lived in SC or live close to SC. We are a friendly bunch and welcome everyone!
Come on in, sit down, take your shoes off if you have a mind to and chat with us!

cute! glad you and Lou Ann got to watch the rain with us!

We got home and our ground was barely wet at all. It was still dry under the trees! At least last night we finally got one equal to or a little longer than the one at your house on Friday. By the way, I think I am in LOVE with the Turkens!

We used to show dogs. Boston Terriers, mostly just terrors though!

That was DH's breed.
He finally quit because it got too easy to go to a 3 day show and win back to back majors and finish the dog with nothing else to show until the next litter grew up. He didn't like to go just for me to show obedience, which I did with Dobermans.
It was fun for about 10 years and then we moved on.
I know this isn't a dog thread but I love to share my history. Here is a photo of our first show dog we bred and raised. Notice the year was 1993 and I was slender back then before my child was born, so was Terry.

I have lots of photos of all the dogs we showed but this one was special. He lived here to a ripe old age and died happy.

Wish I could make it but much too far for me to drive. There are many others that are closer and may be interested.

I will probably be going to the Oct 29th show up in Morganton and take anything I have left to sale.

Also, anyone interested in mixed breed LF hens for sale? I have a friend that has a pen of them and may want to sell them off instead of eating them. I have encouraged her to do so. Usually everyone wants LF laying hens. Roosters I eat, hens I sell.

Kimberly! Here is Flash's first baby hatched out! Fancy was loving her new baby and still sitting on the other eggs. I have some of the eggs in the 'bator, too. Flash has been very good to go in and check on them some during the day. He is a proud papa!
