Your birds are gorgeous! That roo made me say "hubba hubba!" Don't take offense. They don't know quality when they see it. However, please lock up your birds. Sounds like they may be the type that will come back and use their 5 finger discount when you aren't home.

Yeah..I just kinda figured they didn't know what the heck they were talking about. Unfortunately a lot of people around here don't know what good quality birds are worth! They never came to the house, though, thank goodness

I was going to meet them somewhere with DH. I don't like using Craigslist...I may give up on it. I really really hate to put that boy in the freezer though. He is sooo handsome! Anybody want a Blue Orp roo or even a pair?? I trust people on here way more than going thru craigslist. Sure wish I could come to the Chickenstock and try to get rid of these last few roos!

I have an add placed on CL which reads "white silkie chicks." Well, last night at 10:30pm I get a tx asking if I still have any chicks. I replied, yes. Then they ask what color they are. Uh... white! And they say, they weren't wanting white. WTH?!?! The dang add says "white silkies" Who am I dealing with??

SO FOR THOSE OF U THAT DONT KNOW...IM STARTING TO RAISE QUAIL EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!! I have 30+ Coturnix quail eggs coming and should be here tomorrow. Well I got the frame built for the quail pen. Its 9' long 3' wide 2' tall. Should hold 33 quail at Max capacity. Will put the walls for the enclosed part and the hardware cloth for the open air part on tomorrow. I will take some pics when I get done building it. Its all scrap wood except the plywood walls and hardware cloth. Altogether it was only $53. Got into this via my brother and grandpa. We used to hunt quail in south Georgia. They asked me to hatch some out so I fig I would save some to breed too.

This is just going to be my second missed one. That is when they start charging @ my doc office. However the first missed one should not count. It was in Jan during one of the bad snows.

Well, actually we go before the storm, walk barefoot on the beach, take pictures, find treasures and Then- head back to the house to enjoy coffee and being dry when the actual storm hits. That's the plan anyway

Now see I could do that ... unless I thought a tornado was coming instead of a hurricane. .... Then I would want to come home to my basement

That is about as close to them as I can get. If they think I am going to get them, they fly off

I have always thought it was dots. It could be triangles

It was light with a grayish colored stripe after hatch. I guess is the best way to describe it.

I will try to get a better picture tomorrow
