eghh yea bad page number! Maybe this'll bump us to the next page!
...or not apparently..lol
Ya'll are funny - I didn't even notice the number.
Ok, it's been a day here. Started out by coming downstairs to find a huge puddle of water in the kitchen floor and a huge wet spot on the kitchen ceiling. Another leak in the upstairs bathroom. Oh the joys of owning an old house. Anyway, turns out it was the toilet, so we'll have to replace that. Then I had a lady call me about birds ..... wanting to give me birds! I love this, just made me so happy. I will be getting a pair of lineolated parakeets. I've wanted one of those birds for a while now and I will be able to raise some myself with this pair. She's also giving me a male cockatiel and I needed a mate for my female who has been alone for several months now. Funny how things work out. I will be giving her some bantam cochins and she's also giving me 2 adult guineas.
Boy did she find the right person when she started looking for someone to take her birds. Heck, my motto is "My name's Jimmy and I'll take what you gimme".
Moonchild, that is the cutest little chick ever - both of them (as I love anything blue). But I haven't a clue where she's getting those speckles from. AND guess what .... I candled the blue polish eggs last night and 6 are growing and developing. Fingers crossed they all hatch. Then I will be able to share. These were shipped eggs so I'm not surprised that only 6 out of 12 are developing. If they will all hatch I will be a happy girl.
Oh lineolated parakeets...So nice!!! Never raised those before...U know at my parents house I have a trio of cocktiels in a outdoor avairy that are atleast...close to 20yrs old. Of course no breeding on that trio but they still are a kickin...I guess when I was 20 and still lived with the parents I should have thought that through...but dad loves them.
HAppY HappY Joy JoY on the Blue Polish eggs I hope the 6 hatch...and wink wink I would love a couple of chicks plus a WhtCrted chick
...plus I would love to also see all your great birds/chickens!
