Well folks..I am SO EXCITED! I took the plunge and purchased a "breeder quality" pair of white call ducks from Foleys Waterfowl in Kentucky! I can't wait for them to get here! They shipped out today and will be here Thursday

I think my hubby has finally given up telling me no to more birds LOL..he just kinda shook his head when I asked him about getting them. I told him he needed a hobby and the ducks could be his..hehe. Anyways, I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them. I'm a little nervous because I've never had birds shipped to me. ahhhh I can't wait!

Not sure on the silkie chicks yet. Supposedly partridge......not sure on age and cost, but should be getting that info and pix in a bit

I saw one cutie partridge baby at the fair and it was just cute as can be.


I will be at Amy's late afternoon on Saturday picking up birds and dropping sale birds off....

Think I may have lost a cat today. I saw him fighting something in the front yard and by the time I got there he ran off. The thing he was fighting was a copper head snake. I killed the snake and went looking for my cat. I found a second copper head at the edge of the woods where the cat ran off too. Killed that snake as well but have not been able to find my cat. He's a great little mouser and very gentle with people and I hope he's OK but I don't think he would have ran off unless he was hurt. I hate snakes since I was bit as a kid and this is another reason to hate them. Only snake I will let live arround the house are king/black snakes because they eat other snakes. Every one please pray for my boy. He's a good kitty.

I have a few Motty girls growing up and you know how hard it is to squeeze one away from me! And you know I can't always tell if they are going to be as fabulous as they are meant to be. You probably can tell if they will be as nice as the young lady you are showing now though.
But for a white d'Uccle pullet, I will let you take your pick of my young ladies. Not my older girls though!
