Just want to share a picture of the latest addition....

The little stripe down the back and across the eye is very light but there. I hope it comes out looking like a BBRed. We have been so busy around here that I have not even had time to enjoy this new baby chick.

Also a note, 2 more chicks have come up with fowlpox--both polish roosters! There is a pattern here! Also, while on the polish subject, we clipped the top knots on 2 polish chicken yesterday- -both WCBs. What a difference in birds. The rooster we trimmed flew for the first time up to the roost with the other polish chickens tonight and the hen is eating very well and following me around. Very different birds in both cases--but do they ever look strange.

Tomorrow the old porch comes off and I will start harvesting the old lumber--I hope!! Lots going on around here!
