Good luck on your hatch!

Our power went out for an hour and half this morn!!! I flew to walmart...got an inverter so I could plug the bators into my car( with a drop cord through the window) and power comes on when I am 2 miles from home!!!!! BTW wal mart is a good 35 mins from us....but my egg bator got to 86 and my hatching bator got to 90!!! I can say my pip is more open and chirping through the hole and 3 others are rocking big time and temps are back up...I am hoping the temp wasnt too low too long. I did wrap the bators in blankets immediatly when power went out!

I love when the pips start! It's like Christmas!!

After a month with no eggs due to everyone molting together

I know one of my buff cochins has finished molting, she's just being lazy!! Hopefully all the other girls will not be far behind, but some of them are definitely taking thier time with the molt. Looking forward to being able to cook breakfast before church next sunday!

Have a great day everyone!

I am in NC.

I just found and joined the forum. It looks like a great place. I am sorry to ask this question here and I feel pretty stupid but I can't figure out how to start a new post (subject). I have searched and searched and just can't see how to do it. Obviously I can reply to posts but I just don't see how to start a new post so that I can ask my question.
Again, I'm sorry to ask it on your topic... but can someone help me? Thanks so much!
