Dropping to 86 degrees is pretty bad to possibly kill a hatch but I always continue with as much hope as possible.

I understand about the high humidity after washing. Debra and Donna came over yesterday to pick up chicks and brought another 60 eggs to set so I cleaned out Debra's Lil Giant still air and am waiting for the humidity to level off in it. I guess I will set them this morning sometime. Chicks can sure make a nasty mess at hatching!

I hope so...I think atleast one of the three will hatch...will be happy with that...my other eggs( I set in one bator every friday night) look great except for one with a definate blood ring!!

are yall going to morganton? this weekend.. it seams so far away i know I can make clemson. worrried about gas prices.. also dont know where it is. is anyone caravaning up there?

That's a great first attempt!! Seriously I only had 1 hatch out of I think 13 or so my first time

They were shipped eggs but it was still very disappointing!

Wow..I missed A LOT since I've been on here! I've been swamped with work and schoolwork. I think I just read like 15 pages on here! I'm thinking I'm going to try to come to the Morganton show this weekend. I wont be able to buy but I've never been to a show. I'm definately going to the bantam show in Clemson though

ya know Robert had a good idea last time we went to the chickenstock in Nc. we need to have name tags so that we recognize each other in person..

I'll defintetly wear a name badge in clemson and money pending to morganton sat.
