Headed to meet my mom

I conned her into going to the Morganton show with me since it's pretty much the last thing my DH wants to do on a saturday! I'll take lots of pics!

So I am getting two silkie/polish mixes probably next week. They are too stinking cute. They remind me of sultans. One is frizzle feathered. Cute!

And my hubby started building my serama cages!!! Yah!!!

Patience! I have no talent either. I sit on a chair, watch chicken TV and wait. I take lots of pictures, I figure one has to come out good. Although this time I had the camera with me. I told hubby to feed them so I could take the pic. It does help when you stand back and can let someone else feed them. I wish I could get pics like some of them I have seen on here, they look like paintings

As a professional photographer, I would recommend using a camera with a flash. Even when you are outside in the sun. Also, speed up the camera by changing the "ISO speed" to 800. That should take out some of the blur. For those with a tripod ($20) and a remote shutter button it works even better, because there is no camera shake.

Thank you for that information! I will try it. My camera is simple but it does alow me to use a manual mode.
