OK guys, how do you do it? Debi - you always get fabulous pics of your birds. All I can catch are blurs. I've been trying to get a few pics of some speckled sussex I got from phoneman for him, and all I got are a couple of shots of their backs when I threw scratch down around my feet. The fact that I have no photographic talent could have something to do with it.
As a professional photographer, I would recommend using a camera with a flash. Even when you are outside in the sun. Also, speed up the camera by changing the "ISO speed" to 800. That should take out some of the blur. For those with a tripod ($20) and a remote shutter button it works even better, because there is no camera shake.
Thanks David, I'll try that! The son that isn't at home anymore had a real eye for photography. He didn't get it from me! Looking forward to next weekend! I stalk your CRSA thread all the time because I work right on the Lexington-Aiken border, could toss a rock across the Edisto.
