I agree on the Orphs....dont know much about jerseys and my BLRW(wyndottes) are great!! I too have an ADHD son....but he takes a low dose of concerta, only on school days(I hate the meds) and he is now in advance honors classes and loves school but still seems to be one who will do better with a skill also....he LOVES HIS(hehe I just let him think that) Ameraucana's...My mom got the first pretty blue egg out of her half of the flock yesterday....aughhhhh...LOL

CHICK EMERGENCY.... I have a 3 week old D'uccle chick that is bleeding through the vent...bright red and alomost a continious drip....saw a spot in brooder last night but no more...then this morn suddenly lots of spots so I started checking over chicks and found this one. They are on medicated(for cocci) feed. I plan on separating this chick so I can watch and treat it...it is a smaller than most in the brooder chick but thats because of breed and not illness. It is active and hungry. My question is should I give it corrid or just separate and do sav-a-chick? I dont want to OD it on cocci treatment with the feed and water...if thats possible....HELP FAST!!!!
