Columbia may be closer to Larkspur than I am?
If not, the more the merrier! I already have a full day of appts lined up as more BYC folks find me and want what I have been hatching. I didn't mean to hatch so many but if I sell them I want to make sure the pen is producing well. That's my story and I am sticking to it!

Well then...lark come to the bunny show. I am going with 2 other lionhead breeders.....one is bringing nothing to sell, 1 is bringing a few but hers are high dollar bunnies. My siamese sable boy needs a pet home...he had one lined up but they decided to take only his mom and not both. He is even litterbox trained. If you want him and can meet me at the show, I will give him to you.

How are the chicks today?
I found some blood in my d'Uccle brooder last week. I had been feeding them meal worms every day and thought that may be the case but 2 days of Sulmet and they are back to normal. I am still feeding meal worms though. They have never slowed down and act fine but I worried it was coccidiosis. It could have been too many meal worms. They do not have grit but the chick starter is gritty and they swallow them quickly. I sometimes let them into a meal worm bin to scratch around. They have a blast digging and eating and then dust bathing in it!
I hope yours are much better today!

Oh! You better watch that Mottled Cochin auction. There are a lot of watchers and these birds are very popular in show circles. Glad you already have some growing up though!

I am..I was already wanting to get a few from you for Jesse for christmas and maybe a few BLRWs....Maybe we can work it out? Everyone made it through the day but Fred cochin is still really puny and Jesse is soo upset...but he is a little better than this morn and although you can tell my Duccle and one other still feel yucky they did attack food but he didnt...I got the drops and some of that vet gel to give quick calories and gave him a dab plus droppered med water...will be watching him very close..
BUT the wry neck baby is really bad off...I cant put water in since he has already almost drown and with me gone all day he is too weak to stand...I am taking the same extra cals approch for the night but dont expect him to make it...

bunny shows are free to go to. they usually start around 8 to 9am and go til they are done (usually 2-4ish for a double show)

Here is Zippity. His dad is 2.76lbs, small but heavy. Mom was around 3.5lbs. Zippity will probably be around 2.5 to 3lbs full grown.
