There will be big manly bunnies there...like the huge flemish giants. Very manly.

If you do go, its not hard to find the lionhead people with the big 3 story rolling cart full (that'd be us). Zippity may go quick because of his color (or may not) but there will be tons of other bunnies there for sale if he is already gone when you get there (assuming you do go).

When I bought my first 10 orpingtons in georgia the guy I bought them from said the same thing! He said the males will kick, the females wouldn't. He also said he had a 70 -80-% success rate being right. The chicks were only 5 days old and Out of ten he was off by 2- that's 80% correct.
Don't know if it is true, but apparently he could tell.

Well my 2 silkie" hens" were tested the same way to my horror...I bought them out of pity then...BOTH ROOS!!LOL

My Duccle chick lost the fight...But the others are ravenous pigs with VERY HEALTHY LOOKING POOP!! Yay!! I lost 3 out of 8...but they were all sooo bad so I guess its a victory!!

Jackie B. :

Ok totally random: I'm now up to 5 losses in 3 weeks with the hawks and I've had it. I have a huge 10 x 30 pen set up that bumps right up to my coop, I just need to cut a hole to make a pop door. My question is this: do you think chickens will use a doggie door to go in and out of? I know chickens are very "special" and not the brightest but I have a smaller cat door I never set up in the house and I want to try it.

Thoughts?

Jackie have tried hanging shiny objects facing upwards..Like mirrors or disc. I read somewhere that it was a great thing to keep hawks away. Cause the shiny objects cause confussion. Worth a try or if YOU want one of my HUGE mutt roosters that are still young It's ALL yours!!! And these Roo's are gonna be REAL big!!! oh and Purdy!!!!

Well, he did it and it worked. He bought two chicks and wanted girls and they're both girls. So I'm thinking I might test it out.
