Today I went to the dollar store to find bowls for my seramas that won't be knocked over!! Found pretty ceramic ones that are heavy and yah they work! And then also got cheap little plastic "baskets" so each hutch has a nest box. Also feeding them "fish" pellets to up protein (in ally older birds) since some are still in that molting stage. Fingers crossed I get done results!

And my male serama that was looking pale has darkened up and seems to be looking far healthier!!!!

I NOW have TWO crowing d'Uccles in da house!!! And what triggers them to crow...light and my voice. It's gonna be a long loud christmas!!! But they are sweet !

Gald yall are talking about your conceled weapons permit. My husband has been after me for a while to get mine and after today I just might. I was in the bathroom which is in the back of the house washing the dogs. Thought I heard a really loud truck so I walked to our den and looked out the window and sure enough there was a truck stopped on the side of our road. Two men were out of the truck and one was walking in my yard. So I walked to my bedroom picked up my husbands pistol and the phone. Called my husband and walked out on the front porch with the pistol in my hand where they could see it. They didnt say a word but they got in their truck real fast and I have not seen that truck since. It is time for me to start carrying all the time. I grew up around guns. My husband and I coached our son in rifle and he was 5 time state champ. I guess I have resisted because I felt like the world is not that bad but more and more I'm seeing it is time for good people to protect themselves.

I saw a bumper sticker today .. it said Ladies do it the "WRIGHT" way, carry a gun!

Wright is our Sheriff I think in this county.

Mine is to heavy to carry concealed anyway.

I rarely hide it when I am outside.

I hate the thought of the government lists we all are probably on! and the too heavy gun is hilarious - since it is NOT pointed at me right now!

My very old and very "mint condition" 357 Magnum police issue circa 1970's has NO safety...(passed on from my Mom the Copper...LOL)

hope it doesn't go "off" as you hoodlums run away!!!
