My wonderful and handsome husband spent the afternoon collecting my Christmas present for me ( well, we were with him but he did most of the work!). We now have a little flock of Southdown Babydoll sheep and they are too stinking cute for words.

We have five ewes and three rams. I can't wait to start getting to know them and loving on them. They look like wooly, smiley teddy bears. I've been wanting them for two years and finally found them nearby.

They are very fat at the moment (which the owners knew but ignored) so we'll be weaning off the feed over the next few weeks and get them back down to a normal weight. I think at least three of the ewes are expecting. I'm so excited!
