I hope you all enjoyed the nice weather we had today. I'm really hoping for another nice day tomorrow. I think after that we are going to be in trouble for a while. I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! Hope you're all safe and warm and with family and friends.

I have a question for everyone. I noticed yesterday that Lacey, on of the SLW's seemed to have torn her earlobe. I think we figured out it was probably on an area of the fence where the chicken wire had a couple of sharp edges (they aren't there anymore!). It is definitely larger today, which I know may be from the others bothering it. I am going to get some neosporin on it in just a little while, but wondered if I should also pick up some Blue Kote when I go to TSC later. Here is a picture of her. She's a little blurry since she refused to let me a get a good side picture. SEemed to be more interested in the food that might be on the floor of the coop.
