Ok...googled goats...Boers are for meat and are large...I think I want a couple cutie pie pygmies and maybe a Nubian for milking(one and use a stud to keep kids/milk going).I want to learn to make goat soaps and lotions!!

Thanks Coolridgedane....maybe Patrick will get a nice home...or grill! I knew I wanted pygmies(thats what I was getting) and I am still undecided on the whole milking thing!

Does anyone know about goat milk and if I can breed the pygmies and get a little milk for my project? I prefer to drink cow milk(yes I have tried goat) and wont be wanting alot of milk?? HMMM research time again!

I lost all my goat pics when I lost all of my pics on this PC...a folder with almost TEN THOUSAND PICS....GONE!

You need Carbonite to back up your system. It does it remotely. I have it and my DH surprised me with a lovely new laptop for Christmas. I really needed it! All I had to do was log onto Carbonite from the new computer and all my files, emails, pictures, everything magically appeared on the new computer. Exactly like it was on the old one! I was pretty happy!

I had been wondering if they'd started to lay yet. Hopefully they'll start soon

Oh how I miss summer. More specifically, I miss our horses' slick and shiny summer coats

Now they're fuzzy and grooming is much more work lol. I found some pics on my phone from the summer. The liver chestnut Morgan's name is Penny, and the bay (she's half Mustang, half Paint....you can obviously tell who she took after

) is Sugar. They're extremely fat, i know

I have two others, Piper and Misty, but they seem to disappear when I break out a camera

Carbonite is a lifesaver! Since DH seems to likes to crash ours I got it and am so happy. And it is really not very costly either!
