I use Firefox but the pages still jump all over the place. I tried IE since we have it but it was worse on there. It is a shame to have a fairly new hard drive and still not have good results on this new upgraded BYC.

I was slow slow slow to load and also jumping like I think you describe...Mine is a work computer so I had to get authorization to upgrade IE to version IE8 today and tonight I am maneuvering much better!

Amy If you get a chance, try Google Chrome. It is working better for me. Not jumping like in Mozilla Firefox. I have Windows XP and an old old old computer (which I love). I have a newer one only a year or so old but like the old one better. Chrome crashed for me this morning but it may have been this old computer or the add on that I was trying to add. I deleted the add on, restarted and Chrome has been working great since.

LOL...I feel that way sometimes!! Patsy (mom)said she wont be on tonight so I will spread the cheerfull news...I went over to candle the 107 degree Dorking eggs and they are well developed with good movement!!! YAY!!!

I am just now starting out on here. My mom (dixiebeast) and my grandma (patsy) got me thinking about joining, so i did. I myself dont actually own any of the chickens.. but i have a horse, our new chicken dog that we got a couple weeks ago, and a cat. I do want phoenix's so if anyone has any or comes across any.. please let me know! :)

Thanks Mary! Let me know if you have any PQ silkies available towards spring! I'd probably be interested in one.

Lauren Chickens don't usually get broody until they are ready. Their hormones have a mind of their own.

My PQ silkies lay a few eggs and get broody. One will set on an empty nest for weeks. Sometimes both of my hens were setting on the same nest of eggs. Right now they are laying occasionly but are not going broody. Guess it is the weather.
Buff Orps are supposed to be real broody. In 3 years, I have only had 1 go broody. I have had as many as 10 hens down to 5 now. My black javas usually were broody once or twice a year.

I am using Chrome again and it is definately better on BYC. Not sure why it crashed this morning.
