YAY!! I dont think that is too bad on shipped eggs...I got 14 out of 21 Cochins and was super happy! They are my first shipped eggs!

9 FLUFFY BUTTS!!!!!!

Chick Update:

The guy sent me 14 eggs.

1 I cracked open and killed.
2 were clear
1 died because it pipped upside down and not into the air sac..smothered I guess.
1 has not hatched
9 babies!

To think...I wanted 2 duck babies when I got my first chicks at TSC in april when I started this wonderfull chicken journey...they were a tiny bit bigger than my chicks and the TSC guy said my chicks would kill them and I only had the one coop!! I did not know then that if I added chicks the coops would appear!!LOL

I may just have to get some ducks now besides AMY HAS THOSE LAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow - that's incredible. These eggs are tougher than we think.

I realize now these are the overnight no heat half developed eggs!! That is SUPER AWSOME!!

Weren't exactly shipped...these are the ones that were almost fully developed sent by a someone DH works with.



But holy cow that is awesome results for shipped eggs! YAY! I never have that much luck with shipped ones

How awesome is that!??? Unreal!
And amazingly enough sometimes eggs can't make it through the mail to the next state. Maybe they should be sent to Kimberly!
