Morning South Carolina!! Just wanted to pass the info along in regards to the Spring Carolina Chickenstock. I have updated the thread as some info has been confirmed. I am also starting to take donations for the raffles. If you have anything you would like to donate please pm or email me. I will be confirming a local charity in the near future to attend the event and all proceeds will benefit.

Got my d'Anver trio today :) :) They are adorable! THANK YOU JACKIE! Can't wait to get them all set up in their new home. I have a pretty big tractor we built to grow chicks out in that is going to be theirs. Just have to clean it up and move it near the other coops! Pretty sure after only having them a few hours they're already my favorites (but don't tell the others!)

So where are the pictures??? Glad you got them and are getting them settled in.

I know that but don't know what vet will do! I am not doing it! And still... poor boy!! LOL I even had to explain the tool to my son one day in TSC...He picked it up and asked...he is 13 so I told! The look on his face was hilarious!

DON"T BAND AT 3 WEEKS!

DH says I was wrong... he does not go by age, but by size of what you are banding (lol) He said at 6 months they will probably be too big. Check them around 3-4 months of age.
If you do it when they are too small it can cause the urethra to stop developing..and if the goat gets stones it can cause it to need surgery.
