All I can say is with age comes beauty and grace! Glad she is finally coming around! I have some a year old that want to offer up an egg every 10-15 days??? LOLOL

I have in the past. Now that I am reducing the number of hives I will have, I probably will not have enough to be able to raise and sell queens. You have to pull frames of brood and bees out of strong hives to have bees to raise and care for the queens. If you pull too much out of the strong hives, it may weaken them if the weather and nectar flow are not good. It is a balancing act.

Please buy a wheelbarrow!

That saves a lot of backache!

And OMG that is gorgeous. Where did you find that Idea? I can see that with herbs or trailing flowers or anything!

Beautiful! I'm looking forward to see what you build from your hoarded material! About the wheelbarrow...when I was younger I just trecked everything around by hand too...it was easier on unstable land AND it kept me fit and trim (when I was younger LOL)...I just want to throw out there how much help a pair of handtrucks can be useful on unlevel ground...for dragging anything that can stack...on a bumpy surface! I drag stone, bricks, block, barrels of lots of stuff, wood, posts, fencing, etc...etc...I love my handtrucks! You can also scoop under small coops and runs and drag them...on and on and on...did I say I use my handtrucks every day and love them? They are my third and forth hand!

I wouldn't get my panties in a wad if someone thought so much about my bird that they offer to do the traveling and washing and grooming and such to show one of mine...WHAT a great compliment that is!!!! I would "hitch up" my big girl panties and say...Yep..Yessiree...I made that bird!!!

And thank you very much!!! LOLOL

Some people do not like it when you show birds that you did not breed and hatch. I mean seriously, you have to start some where. It is the others with the same birds that complain about it.

Does any one have a coop for sale? I need one that's off the ground but I would consider something else if I can make it work. Otherwise I've got to build it and my shoulder is out.i hate getting old. :D

This is a very rare breed "Ayan Cemani" Rooster. Not only are his feathers black, but so are his comb, wattles, beak, tongue, legs, and organs. They are from Indonesia.
