I also need a true Ameraucana roo to go with my white/wheaton Amers...They are laying age but the roo is an Ameraucana mix...so I guess that is giving me EE chicks?!?

Yep, check out my for sale page on my website. Not to mention I just hatched out lots of Marans and have more in the bator.

The only Ameraucana roos I have are in blue and black.
Yes, the roo you have now is giving you EEs. I would not tell folks the chicks are true Ameraucanas but you should breed for what you like. Just tell people the truth about what you have.
No use ruining your reputation by misrepresenting the breeds you have. I get a lot of complaints from buyers about other breeders or sellers so I make sure I sell mine honestly and research a breed in full before breeding and selling anything.

Poor John! He still needs to finish coops at his own place and he is going to be one very busy man building for others. Can't wait til he gets a chance to visit here soon!

Take a look at my website and see if anything appeals to you. I may or may not have them on a waiting list for others or they may be laying enough to catch up by the time you start your road trip.

And I have more birds than what you will see on my website, too. I am still working on adding pages but I only have so much time every day.

Mine might start getting ready to lay better but I had someone email me for my MF d'Uccle hen that is rumpless. She is a throw back to an extinct breed from back in WWII. They are trying to raise them up again and she is perfect for the program. I named an astronomical price for her and they snapped her up.

So I guess she will be out of my breeding pen. I sure do love the little thing but she will certainly be nice to have for a breeding program with purpose. I just breed mine for pets and do not have time to breed for the d'Everburgs, too.

well as you see we all have eggs! I have mutt eggs that hatch out everytime!! Good strong eggs and I may can part with a few Duccle and self blues...but only a few!! I am hatching for Chickenstock!! And myself!! My mutt eggs are BLRW roo over RIR and BO...pretty hens from them so far!! My big hens are not that big(hatchery chicks from TSC last year) but lay well and Lucky the roo sure loves them...he has 9 gals and he has them all looking ragged...I am gonna have to make some hen saddles...He is a VERY busy boy!! BUT every egg is always fertile! The only ones not fertile at my house is my stupid wheaton Amers!!!

Ok I need to know what shows and swaps are in March...I have been asked to do something HUGE for me anyways and I need to plan a date!! And please dont ask what...I will tell soon enough!!
